The Rocketboys
Build Anyway

Released: 6th June 2012
Label: The Rocketboys

‘Build Anyway’ is the latest album from Austin TX band The Rocketboys. After one listen to this album it is clear that The Rocketboys are a band who have mastered the art of creating indie anthems. This is an album that will instantly appeal to fans of Coldplay, The National, Snow Patrol, Band Of Horses and The Killers.

The album opens with ‘Bloodless’ which contains a quiet organ sound and hushed vocals before exploding into an anthem that will have you singing along at the top of your voice. ‘Marching Into The Palace’ sounds like Chris Martin at his very best, the song builds perfectly and will be ringing around your head for a long time to come.

Other highlights include ‘These Are Hard Times’ a tender acoustic led ballad showcasing that behind the anthemic sound are lyrics full of honesty, meaning and heartbreak “The truth is that I will get by without you”. ‘Carry Me’ an inspirational song that you will want to play as loud as you can. ‘Hallowed Ground’ is another moment of beauty, with its soft vocals and piano sounds combining to melt even the toughest of hearts. ‘The Best’ gives the album the anthemic ending it deserves, by the time the song finishes the only thing left to do is go back to the start and listen to the album again.
