It's that time of year when people start making their ‘tips for 2015’ list. Well, one name that is sure to feature heavily on many lists is that of Daisy Victoria, a young singer songwriter from Norwich who will charm the hearts of many on her rise to stardom.

March 2014 saw Daisy release her debut EP ‘Heart Full Of Beef’ and, in doing so, gained notable fans across the media with Huw Stevens, Mary Ann Hobbs, Lauren Laverne and John Kennedy all giving her wonderful music the airtime it deserves. Daisy also played at the BBC introducing stage at Latitude Festival and gained support slots with Martha Wainwright and Little Comets.

Daisy is ending what has been a great year by releasing her second EP ‘Nobody Dies’, containing five tracks which will see her gain more attention from the media and music lovers up and down the country. The stunning title track, which opens the EP, overflows with beauty and charm with vocals that snuggle deep in your heart and melodies that take you on a journey which you will never want to end.

The guitars that open ‘Blue Arc’ instantly grab hold of you and make sure this is a song you can’t escape from. The seamless way the song drifts from chorus to verse continues to showcase the talent that Daisy Victoria possesses when it comes to songwriting. ‘Ammonite’ is full to the brim with drama and passion with vocals that glide beautifully over the melodies in a dramatic way. ‘Coals’ continues to wow the listener with delicate vocals and carefully crafted sounds that combine to leave the listener feeling grateful for the music that is filling the space between their ears. ‘Another Sky’ is the perfect ending to this EP; the vocals once again take centre stage with the music providing drama and suspense and, in doing so, leaving the listener desperate for more.

Daisy Victoria has so much talent when it comes to writing, recording and performing music that there is no doubt in my mind that she is set for great things, just make sure you are there with her.
